This fast growing perennial has clusters of tiny yellow flowers arranged in large spikes. Blooming starts in late summer and can last until the first frost when conditions are right. Although flowers are a bit less showy, they are abundant, and early pruning t o encourage branching will increase their numbers even more. A favorite of many bees and butterflies. Perfect choice for woodland edges in moist areas.
Deer Resistant! Host plant for the Splendid Brass Looper and the Radcliffe's Dagger Moth. It also attracts predatory insects that feed on pest insects.
