Amelanchier × grandiflora 'Autumn Brilliance' (commonly marketed or referred to by gardeners as a cultivar of Amelanchier canadensis) is a highly popular, multi-season ornamental hybrid serviceberry known for its reliable orange-red fall foliage, delicate white spring blooms, and edible summer berries.

It is a cross between two native North American species: Amelanchier arborea (downy serviceberry) and Amelanchier laevis (Allegheny serviceberry).

This tree grows to 15-25' tall and wide and does well in full sun to partial shade.  It prefers moist, well-drained laoms with acidic to neutral pH.  It is tolerant of various soil types, but does not do well in porrly drained or waterlogged settings.

Keystone Host plant for over 115 species of Lepidoptera including the Viceroy, Red-Spotted Purple, Easter Tiger Swallowtail, Striped Hairstreak, Small-Eyed Sphinx Moth, and the Bline Eyed Sphinx.

Because of its early bloom time, it serves as a critical nectar and pollen source for native bees.
