Mrs. Schiller's Delight is a compact, dwarf evergreen to semi-evergreen shrub native the the Southeastern United States.

This shrub features incredibly dense, fine-textured glossy green foliage that serves as an exceptional native alternative to boxwood or dwarf yaupon holly

In late winter to early spring, the entire shrub explodes with a dense "snow dusting" of crisp, small white flowers that provide a vital early nectar source for bees and pollinators. These blooms are followed by summer berries that shift from red to black, attracting local bird populations.

It typically grows 2-3' tall with a 3-4' spread and thrives best in full sun to partial shade.  Full sun yields the densest shape and maximum spring bloom count.

It prefers well-drained acidic soil. While it naturally tolerates wet or occasionally flooded soils its native habitat, it is remarkably drought-tolerant once fully established in the landscape.
