Linked to Korman Productions’ Deep Dive TV Podcast: Earth Lives in MGM+ Deep Dive Episode 1, “Alone”; with Dave and Stacie (2024). Usually, the first episode is a decent episode, but not this one, which is especially bad considering it’s about a global pandemic that seemingly ends civilization. It’s only been three weeks since he’s been out of things, but it feels like months or even years from what everyone is saying and doing.
Well, it didn’t last long
It starts off by introducing him as some kind of grounded guy who wants to live online alone. Judging by the cover art, how likely is it that when you meet her, she’ll be a strong, independent woman who doesn’t need a man but can pull you in like a lost puppy. I don’t really understand where the fun comes from when there’s no one left and no infected threats like 28 Days Later.
I’m not going to watch to find out!
This episode was just about the survivors whining about being alive. Maybe there are some textbook slaves (probably bad-looking Christians) out there who want to create a new world order and have to escape them? "One Hundred Years of Solitude" is one of the biggest TV and streaming premieres this month.
