Host Plants
Host plants are plants which provide shelter, habitat, breeding sites or serve as a food source as part of the life cycle of another organism. The larvae of these organisms can only eat the leaves of their ‘Host Plant’ to fuel their growth until they pupate.
Scarcities of Host Plants can lead to a decline in the populations that depend upon these for reproduction. Native plants are the best choice for host plants.
Due to our upcoming Popup Plant Sales, we are closing online sales until April 27th, 2025.
