Pennsylvania Sedge-is a great Sedge for acidic woodlands. Plants prosper in dappled sunlight or partial shade. Moist soil is preferred but the plants will tolerate average soils and some drought. This Sedge is a great native substitute for the popular non-native groundcovers Liriope muscari and Ophiopogon japonicus.
Host plant for Skipper and Satyr butterflies and the seeds are relished by birds and turtles. Deer Resistant!
