Azure Aster-very adaptable aster that blooms September through November. It will grow in full sun, partial shade and full shade and takes dry to moist soils. The flowers range from blue to purple to violet and brings welcome color to your shady gardens in the fall, just in time to provide critical nectar resources for the fall migration of the monarch butterfly. It also attracts numerous other butterflies and native bees.
