Blue Stemmed Goldenrod-smaller goldenrod for shady areas. Attracts birds, butterflies, and native bees. Host plant for Wavy-lined Emerald Moth. It is an herbaceous perennial that grows 3 feet tall with showy clusters of yellow flowers that hug greenish-purple stems in the summer and early fall.
